Being a big fan of Anthony Robbins and studying a lot of his material has brought home a few hard learned lessons, not only from a personal perspective, but also from a business perspective. (For those of you who don’t know who Anthony Robbins (Tony) is or what he does, then you are missing out. Tony Robbins has built more than an empire within his life time, he has built a life style for millions of people, businesses and more world wide. )
Tony and the people who work at the Tony Robbin’s companies (Robbins Research International, Inc.) do a number of things really well. Email campaign marketing is one of them. Have a look at the following email sent out recently.

What works with this newsletter?
The list is long, but here are the essential parts.
- Colourful – the image represents the main drive and aspect of the newsletter
- Interaction – the audience is immediately engaged with a questsion
- Testimonial – proof, credibility and success are represented
- FREE – it stands out doesn’t it. Everyone likes something for free. Free also equates to suggestive selling. (More on that in a later article)
- Promotion – this is where Tony will be – come and be a part of the team
- A bonus offer – once again, the suggestive selling opportunity
- and the overall content – easy to read, straight forward – NO SPAM! (that’s a bonus)
AND – one of the most important aspects of the news letter. Look at the very top line.

The first 2 parts are pretty straight forward.
- Read the newsletter in full bright colour to get the most out of it and
- make sure that you receive all of the next news letters.
The third one is one of the most important. “SEND TO A FRIEND”.
The newsletter engages the audience and sends the message home and also allows for the email to be forwarded onto someone else!. Great!
