Creation Films – A case study
In this article, we focus on a make over for the www.creationfilms.com.au web site.
First, a little background about creation films:
Creation Films began in 2004 as an independent film, television and multimedia production company. To this day, we have remained independent and have since expanded to incorporate promotional training, corporate, educational and web-related productions and design.
Before and After
When Aquafruit Media was approached to build the site, we looked into creating an engaging environment that provided everything required without a huge amount of bells and whistles.
The end result – well, the client loves it, the feedback we have to date is great and the overall “feel” of the site is one of accomplishment and credibility. From the client’s perspective, it’s a major improvement and the beginning of a strong & successful presence within the TV & film arena.
The old site.
The old site consisted of a one page flash template with no editable content, difficult to read and did not really portray the depth of the company behind it.

The new site
A panoramic vista – that upon loading, immediately sets the environment and customer experience & expectation. To keep the site simple, we also decided to use the immediate first page as the backdrop for everything that followed. The content was overlaid with a light box effect, giving the small amount of content depth, while retaining the overall feel and effect of the site. Interactive in simplicity.

Marketing.
Nic Prass, Writer/Director of Creation Films is by trade a Marketing guru. Aquafruit engaged Nic to work on a seperate marketing project as the Creation Films site was being built. As a spin off, Nic was also engaged in a minor way with the Search Engine Optimisation of the web site. Overall – a great partnership and a huge success.
At the end of the project
The end result of the project? Here at Aquafruit, we know that the Creation Films project was a success and await further feedback for any improvements & contributions we can make.
The important part. A happy customer.

Aquafruit Media would like to thank Creation Films for the rights to post this article and for the opportunity to build the new web site. We would also like to thank Nic Prass for his guidance and expertise from a Marketing perspective.
Warm regards,
