The Travel Portfolio
Every now and then, it’s good to turn off and talk/write about something non-technical or work related.
Hence, the Travel Portfolio has been created.
This portfolio has been put in place for two reasons.
The first, to allow me to share my travel experiences with you and hopefully to have you add your own.
Secondly to show case some of my personal photography work.
All of the images – to date – have been taken on an Olympus 250 – point and click analogue camera with Fuji film.
This camera was purchased on the way through to Europe in 2003 with the idea of taking a few snaps for remembrance.
Since then, I have had the opportunity and pleasure of working with some of Australia’s and perhaps the worlds best photographers and photography studios including:
to name a few.
Not only have I been prevelidged to see the end results of their persuits, I have also been amazed and stand in awe of watching these professional companies and people at work.
I have also bought myself a second hand D200 Nikon DSLR, with a standard 50 mm prime lens and have taken a few shots of my own (including the one below).
For all of you who read this article, I would encourage you to take at least a day off per week and persue your own non-work related interests.
For those of you who would like to contribute to either this blog or the Travel blog, please do so. Your comments and opinions are more than welcome.
Warm regards,
Scott Malpass
