Number One – Starting with Google Apps.
Here are Aquafruit Media, we run our business on Google Apps. Why? It’s easy, clean, spam free, hosted (SAAS solution), robust, stable and …… need I say more. Yep – COST EFFECTIVE!
There are about 63,100,000 google queries for google apps. So that either means that it’s working or there are a lot of complaints. As per the true nature of Google (if you haven’t read the google story, you really should) their dedication, innovation and never ending wealth of solutions is amazing. Not to mention the scope of their support and advertising solutions.

- excellent support (not that you really need it)

- a backup/sync option for your devices (contact info, calendars, address book etc)

What is basecamp? “The” project based collaboration tool. Without a doubt, this tool is awesome! Have a look at their client list :


So, how does basecamp save me time ?
Easily. If any of you out there have used MS project, or some of the other project management tools on the market, you will all know one thing. First of all, there is a learning curve. If any one tells you that MS project is easy to use a a tool they are straight out either lying, or have been using it for years (hence they know it back to front)
For those of us who are I.T. administrators, you will know that using MS project is a shared/corporate environment – where MS project and portfolio servers are required, there is another level of complexity.
With basecamp, once again, no I.T. administrators required. No learning curve (or a small one at the most). Simple, easy to use, fast, hosted (once again, no infrastructure required) and also, cost effective.
